PMI NS - The Big Event 2009

Concertia is proud to be the presenting sponsor to this year's PMI NS - The Big Event on Thursday, November 26th. Click here for more information.

Marriage, having a baby, leaving a job, starting a new job, buying a house – these are life-altering changes that many of us have voluntarily gone through. Yet change is often dreaded in the workplace and it occurs everywhere, all the time.

How do you manage change? What does buy-in and ownership of change mean? Can you control change or just deal with it? Explore the answers to these questions and more by joining Peter de Jager, an international speaker on change management, brought to you by PMI Nova Scotia on Thursday, November 26th, 8:00am – 4:30pm, World Trade and Convention Centre.

“Managing the Chaos brought about by Change” is a day-long, interactive session that will inspire you through discussion, engage you in exercises and help you learn new techniques for dealing with change. The morning will start by helping you reflect on your beliefs about change and introduce you to some tried and tested change process models. During the afternoon session, Peter will involve participants in interactive activities and a case study to help put change models into practice.

Peter has written columns for Globe and Mail Online, Computer World Canada and the American Bankers Association Banker’s Journal, to name a few. His columns often focus on technology, how it impacts us and present changes that we have to manage.
