Blue Nose International Marathon

Concertia Technologies Inc proudly participates in the YMCA Team Relay event of the inaugural Blue Nose International Marathon held in Halifax, Nova Scotia during the weekend of May 22-23, 2004.

The Blue Nose International Marathon included five separate events - a Full Marathon, a Half Marathon, the 10K Run, the YMCA Team Relay, and a Youth Run. The funds raised from the Team Relay event will assist The YMCA of Greater Halifax/Dartmouth with their Strong Kids program, which provides programs and services to children and youth in our community.

Over fifty teams, representing many local area businesses, participated in the YMCA Team Relay event. The Concertia team for the Relay included Ross MacDougall, Angela Ghiz, Jacqueline Fitzgerald, Mike Orr, Simon Sagar, Steve Marquis, and Michael Waugh. The team finished 16th out of 52 (time of 3:47:22.2) in the event, with all participcants proud of their accomplishments.
